Asanas in various texts at a glance

Asanas described in different hath yogic texts

There was many sager, saints and Rishis who establish their own concepts, let’s take a look on them in brief:
In another book name as Siddha-Siddhant Paddhti has described only three asanas

1.    swastika asana
2.    Siddha asana
3.    Padma asana

 while Gorksha shakatam has described only two Meditative asanas,

1.    Siddha asana
2.    Padma asana

Shiv Samhita has described four types of asana,

1.    Siddha asana
2.    Ugra asana
3.    Padma asana
4.    Swastika asana

Hath tatva kaumudi described 15 asanas,

1.    Dhanura asana
2.    Kukkuta asana
3.    Matsyendra asana
4.    Mayur peetha asana
5.    shavasana
6.    yoga-Singhasana
7.    Bhadra asana
8.    Veera asana
9.    Kurma asana
10. Prasarita asana
11. Padma asana
12. Baddha Padma asana
13. Siddha asana
14. Paschimottana asana
15. swastika asana

vashishtha Samhita has a difference version of Ten asanas,

10. Mukta asana  

while Hath-Ratnavali described thirty-seven asanas
